The  materials of hardware tools

· Copper; ordinary brass: it is made of copper and zinc alloy. Bronze: besides brass copper-nickel alloy, the rest of the copper alloy are collectively known as bronze. The majority of special bronze have much higher mechanization properties, abrasion and corrosion resistance than the tin bronze, and the commonly used are aluminum bronze, beryllium copper alloys, etc. 

· Steel: since the alloy tool steel have got special mechanization properties, high-end hardware tools are usually made up of alloy tool steel. Low-end hardware tools commonly use carbon tool steel, it has the advantage of low prices. S2 alloy steel (generally used for the production of   screwdriver heads, screwdrivers); chrome molybdenum steel (generally used for the production of screwdrivers); chrome vanadium steel (generally used to make sleeves, tap wrenches, pliers); carbon steel (generally used for the production of low-end tools.

· Rubber: some explosion proof tools also use rubber as material.
